Business email setup

Still using a personal or internet provider email for business? Let's set up email on your own domain.

  • Everyone shares one login
  • You own a domain name

A free webmail or internet provider address ties your business email to one person or one provider, and it doesn't look established to clients. We set up professional email on your own domain, configure every user and device, and make sure it keeps working when people or providers change.

  • Same-day or next-day, where available
  • Onsite across Perth, or remote
  • No lock-in contract
  • Business and home IT
Common problems

Is your business email really yours?

  • You or your team use personal webmail addresses for work
  • Your email address belongs to your internet provider, so changing provider means losing it
  • Everyone shares one login for the business inbox
  • You own a domain name but your email isn't set up on it
  • Nobody is sure who has the password to the main business address

Already have domain email and want to move it to a new provider? See Email migration between providers.

How we fix it

How we set up your business email

  1. Confirm your domain

We check who controls your domain name, and help you register one in the business's name if you don't have it yet.

  2. Recommend the right platform

Usually Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, chosen to suit how you work and the apps you already use.

  3. Create users and addresses

Individual mailboxes for each person, plus shared addresses like info@ or accounts@ where needed.

  4. Connect your domain

We update your domain's settings (the records that tell the internet where your email lives) so mail is delivered correctly and is less likely to land in junk.

  5. Set up devices

Email working on each person's computer and phone.

  6. Hand over control

Admin access stays with the business, with plain-English notes on what was set up.

How it works

From brief to done, in three steps

  1. Tell us what needs to change

Book online or call. Tell us how many people and mailboxes are involved, and what you want to achieve.

  2. We confirm the plan and scope

Before work starts, we confirm what's included, the order of work and any interruption to email.

  3. We complete the work

Onsite or remotely, scheduled to keep disruption to your business low.

Questions

Business email setup answered

Do we need to buy a domain name first?+

No. If you don't have one, we can help you choose and register a domain in the business's name.

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?+

Both suit small businesses well. We recommend one based on the apps you already use, how you share files and the licence cost.

Who pays for the email licences?+

Licences are billed by the provider directly to your business, so the account stays in your name.

Can we keep our existing emails?+

Yes. Existing mail can be moved across as a separate migration. We'll explain what's involved before starting.

Will email stop working during setup?+

For a brand-new setup, no. If an old address is being replaced, we schedule the change to keep interruption to a minimum.
