Network cabling

Not enough data points, or cables everywhere? We'll plan it and coordinate the cabling.

  • Cables run across the floor
  • There aren't enough data points
  • Comms cupboard is a tangle
  • Access points or cameras need

Wi-Fi isn't the answer for everything. Desks, printers, access points and cameras often work better on a cable. We plan where data points are needed, coordinate a registered cabler to install them, then connect and test your equipment so the network works as one.

  • Same-day or next-day, where available
  • Onsite across Perth, or remote
  • No lock-in contract
  • Business and home IT
Common problems

When Wi-Fi isn't enough

  • Cables run across the floor to reach desks
  • There aren't enough data points where people sit
  • The comms cupboard is a tangle nobody understands
  • Access points or cameras need a cable that isn't there
  • You're fitting out new premises

How we fix it

How we handle cabling

  1. Walk the site

We note where data points, access points and equipment need to go.

  2. Plan what's needed

A simple plan of data points and where cables run.

  3. Coordinate a registered cabler

Cabling is quoted and installed by a registered cabling contractor, who is responsible for the cabling work.

  4. Connect your equipment

Once the cabling is in, we connect switches, access points and devices.

  5. Test the network

We check each point connects and the network works as one.

  6. Hand over

    Notes on what's connected where.

How it works

From brief to done, in three steps

  1. Tell us what needs to change

Book online or call. Tell us how many people and mailboxes are involved, and what you want to achieve.

  2. We confirm the plan and scope

Before work starts, we confirm what's included, the order of work and any interruption to email.

  3. We complete the work

Onsite or remotely, scheduled to keep disruption to your business low.

Questions

Network cabling answered

Do you install the cabling?+

No. Cabling must be installed by a registered cabler. We plan what's needed, coordinate the cabler and connect your equipment.

Who quotes for the cabling?+

The registered cabler quotes for the cabling work. We'll help you understand the quote.

Can you tidy an existing comms cupboard?+

We can plan it and coordinate a cabler to tidy the cabling, then reconnect and test your equipment.

How long does it take?+

It depends on the size of the job and the cabler's availability. We'll give you a realistic timeline once the cabling is quoted.
